[ Lars Nittve at the Institut Francais ]

Those who have been following the phenomenal success of
Bankside's Tate Modern may be interested to hear the
director Lars Nittve talk about the seven months since
the opening of the landmark gallery. The event takes
place at the Institut Francais in SW7 on Tuesday 5
December. Call 020 7225 4800 for details.

[ Vauxhall Cross Scheme open evening ]

All local businesses and residents are invited to
attend a public open evening on Wednesday 6 December
from 6.30pm at Oval Cricket Ground, Kennington, Oval.
There will be a presentation at 7pm with a detailed
display of all parts of the scheme. You will be able to
meet representatives from the Project Team

[ Robin Hood and the Babes in the Wood ]

Described as "a very silly pantomime with lots of songs
and nuns", Robin Hood and the Babes in the Wood is on
at the New Arch Theatre underneath Waterloo station
between 6 and 9 December at 7.30pm. There's a matinee
at 3pm on Saturday. Box office 020 8543 8383. Tickets
should also be available on the door.
