THIS WEEK'S POLL

Are there enough recycling facilities in SE1?

http://www.London-SE1.co.uk/polling

LAST WEEK

After last week's news story about the row between the
British Legion and the owners of County Hall, we asked
whether Shirayama should allow the veterans access to
the war memorial - 94% said yes, with 3% saying no and
3% undecided.

Following on from comments in the London SE1 Forum, we
asked whether the "no cycling" rule on the Millennium
Bridge be better enforced. 44% said yes, whist 19% were
happy with the current situation. 38% of voters though
that cycling should be permitted on the bridge.

Followers of the discussion in the London SE1 Forum
will also be aware of Transport for London's planned
alterations to the Bricklayers Arms junction. 43% were
delighted with the news, whilst another 43% would
rather bulldoze the whole thing and put the road
underground. Unsuprisingly no-one agreed with the
statement "I like it how it is at the moment", but 14%
claimed that they couldn't care less!
