THANKSGIVING SERVICE FOR BEN HOLLIOAKE
Monday 15 July
11am; Southwark Cathedral
A service of thanksgiving for the life of Ben
Hollioake. The England and Surrey all-rounder was
killed in a car crash in Perth, Western Australia in
March. Elder brother Adam, the Surrey captain, will
make a personal address to the congregation and England
batsman Mark Butcher will sing a song he has written
for the occasion. Former Prime Minister John Major, now
president of the club, will also be attending.

MARLOW ON MATISSEPICASSO
Friday 19 July
7pm, Channel 5
A repeat of the programme in which Tim Marlow takes a
look at Tate Modern's MatissePicasso exhibition which
juxtaposes works by two of the 20th century's most
influential artists.

ROYAL WATERCOLOUR SOCIETY ART EVENT DAY
