Waterloo's main carol service for those working and
living on the South Bank.

ELEPHANT ANGELS CHRISTMAS CELEBRATIONS
Friday 20 December
10.30am-3pm at the Elephant & Castle Shopping Centre
Take a break from your Christmas shopping by saying
hello to Father Christmas and his Elephant Angel
helpers. As well as giving you a free gift, the angels
will be on hand to tell you about the sort of help they
can offer, and you might even meet a celebrity.

TREE PLANTING IN MINT STREET PARK
Friday 20 December
1.30pm 
Local theatre company The Lions part in association
with the Bankside Open Spaces Trust will be planting a
young apple tree, an ancient variety dating back to
1620, which will be the first planting of what is hoped
will become Southwark's first new orchard.! The Lions
part presented the tree to the Globe at their October
Plenty festival.
