LIVING SPACE FORUM AT THE BARGEHOUSE
Until Monday 15 September (today)
10am-4pm at The Bargehouse, Oxo Tower Wharf
Landscape Architecture South East is holding an
exhibition highlighting the work of landscape
architects in the South East. Showcased projects
include Tabard Gardens, Southwark Cathedral's
Millennium Project and Mint Street park. Unfortunately
one of the pictures of Southwark Cathedral shows the
wrong cathedral!

LONDON OPEN HOUSE
Saturday 20 and Sunday 21 September
The London Open House weekend takes place across the
capital over one weekend each September, providing free
public access to hundreds of buildings of architectural
and community interest to Londoners. SE1 sites joining
in the annual open day for the first time are listed
below. Visitors must check opening times on the
website.

LAMBETH FILM FIESTA AT THE NATIONAL FILM THEATRE
Saturday 20 September
Screenings begin at 11am in NFT1; free
From the schools and streets of South London to the big
screen, the Lambeth Film Fiesta brings twelve short
films made by children and young people to the National
Film Theatre.  The films - which range from gritty
urban dramas to ghost stories and even a
Bollywood-style musical - were all written, shot and
performed by young people aged between seven and 21. 
The scheme - which was funded in part by First Light,
an initiative supported by the Film Council with
Lottery Funding - is all part of the grand plan to put
Lambeth on the map as a centre for new film-making
talent.

Property developer Irvine Sellar, who plans to build
Europe's tallest building, has bought a Sixties office
block alongside the site of the proposed London Bridge
