======================================================= [ SE1 Direct ] http://www.SE1direct.co.uk Issue 154 | Monday 13 October 2003 ======================================================= >> IN THIS BULLETIN ======================================================= * Reader offer: Save 10 on Pilates or Gyrotonic * What's on this week * Local news & features from the London SE1 website * Arts reviews from London-SE1.co.uk * SE1 news from around the web * In the London SE1 Forum ======================================================= [ Reader offer: Save 10 on Pilates or Gyrotonic ] Studio 74 is a new Pilates and Gyrotonic centre, located on the ground floor of an 18th century building in lively Bermondsey Street. The studio offers a sanctuary where clients are able to relax and recharge in an atmosphere brimming with warmth and character. The setting allows clients to gain maximum benefit from the close personal supervision of the teachers. The Pilates Method is an exercise technique based on the philosophy and teachings of Joseph Herbertus Pilates, the legendary trainer and founder of the Pilates Studio, New York, in the early 1920s. Still relatively new to the UK, The Gyrotonic Expansion System is gaining huge popularity worldwide as a new concept in exercise. The system was created in the USA by Juliu Horvath who has combined years of experience as a dancer and gymnast with in depth knowledge of yoga and Chinese medicine. Studio 74 is offering SE1 Direct readers an introductory session for 25 (instead of 35) in either the Pilates or Gyrotonic equipment methods. To take advantage of this offer, call 020 7407 7576 or email [email protected] - quoting 'SE1 Direct offer'. The studio is open six days a week and classes are available from 10am until 8.30pm weekdays and until 3pm on Saturdays.
