BOROUGH AND BANKSIDE COMMUNITY COUNCIL
Wednesday 22 October
7pm at St Saviour's & St Olave's CE School Hall, New
Kent Road 
Meeting for residents of Cathedrals and Chaucer wards.
Agenda includes update on policing issues and a
presentation on terms of reference for community
councils and outline of the types of decisions that
community councils have power to make. There will also
be a discussion on the proposal for demolition of 100
Union Street and redevelopment of site for a mixed use
development comprising a 9/10 storey building, two 6
storey buildings consisting of 73 residential units, B1
business space, A1/A3 shop/caf� units and 8 live/work
units with associated parking. Other planning
applications to be considered are a retrospective
application for works at the former Hartley's Jam
Factory and 80 Southwark Bridge Road.

SALAD - RAW CANVAS DROP-IN DAY AT TATE MODERN
Saturday 25 October
2pm-8pm at Tate Modern, Bankside; free
SALAD is a free afternoon and evening of Raw Canvas
tasters, with a variety of workshops and events
happening throughout the gallery and in the Clore
Education Centre. Everyone between 15 and 23 is welcome
to come along and take part or simply have a look at
what's going on. Raw Canvas is an initiative at Tate
Modern run by young adults for young adults, giving
everyone the opportunity to reach their own conclusions
about art. Includes DJ/VJ Workshop, video-editing and
print making.

Annual autumn Harvest Celebration mixing ancient
