LORD MAYOR'S SHOW FIREWORKS
Saturday 8 November
5pm on the river between Waterloo & Blackfriars Bridges
To mark the end of the Lord Mayor's Show and the
beginning of a new mayoral year, London's most
spectacular annual fireworks display will fill the
skies over the Thames. This year's will be a
particularly spectacular display thanks to the presence
of the Bgg. This traditional Swiss 'old man of
winter' is three metres tall, two metres wide, stuffed
with explosives and standing on top of a huge conical
bonfire: he is sure to start the fireworks with a bang!
The display is fired from a barge moored on the Thames
between Waterloo and Blackfriars bridges.
The Skylark 2 Gallery at Oxo Tower Wharf is inviting
firework-watchers to visit the gallery and enjoy a
drink between 6pm and 8pm - see
http://www.skylarkgallery.com for directions.
