BOROUGH AND BANKSIDE COMMUNITY COUNCIL: SPECIAL MEETING

Community Council which will be discussing the Trinity
Street/Harper Road Area Scoping Brief.   This is focussing
on traffic management in the area, particularly around Great
Dover Street, Trinity Street, Borough Road, Harper Road and
Falmouth Road.   Come along, find out what's happening and
express your views.  Andrew Downes from the council's street
scene and transport section will be present along with other
officers.  At the meeting there will be workshops, displays
and discussions on this issue.

CROSS RIVER TRAM CONSULTATION
Friday 24 to Saturday 25 November
From 12 noon at the National Theatre,  South Bank
Cross River Tram would link Euston and Waterloo with
branches to Camden Town and King's Cross in the north and
Brixton (via Baylis Road/Kennington Road) and Peckham (via
Elephant & Castle) in the south.  Find out what this scheme
would mean for you at the roadshow, complete with full-size
tram. (NB - There's another chance to see the plans at
Elephant & Castle on 1 & 2 December.)

A service to mark the tenth anniversary of the Porvoo
Agreement which brought the Anglican and Lutheran Churches
into full communion. The Anglican Bishop of Newcastle
presides and the Lutheran Dean of Trondheim preaches.
Followed by a Scandinavian Fair with food and Christmas
present stalls.
