Dr John Ford of the Worshipful Society of Apothecaries
on the unique set of letters between a medical student
and his physician father, providing a vivid insight
into the the life and medicine of St Thomas' Hospital
at the dawn of the 19th century.

CLOCKWORK 
Tue-Sat 2pm; also Wed & Thu 11am & Sat 7pm; �5 (conc

New adaptation of Philip Pullman�s book. A chilling and
romantic story about the magic of the imagination,
self-sacrifice and love. For children 8+. One hour
workshops follow the 2pm performance on Tuesdays,
Thursdays and Fridays.

Until Friday 11 August at Potters Fields:

If you can't face the queues (or the prices) at the
London Eye there is a rather more modest wheel in
Potters Fields until Friday 11 August. A small
Victorian-style funfair is open daily in the riverside
park near Tower Bridge between 12 noon and 9pm. A ride
on the wheel costs �1.50.
