Old Operating Theatre; 2.30pm; 3.50(conc 2.50)
Dr. Ruth Richardson (The Wellcome Institute for the
History of Medicine) The author of "Death, Dissection,
and the Destitute" and regular columnist for the
Lancet, will be exploring the parallels between
contemporary attitudes to organ donation, harvesting
and transplantation, and the 19th century practice of
"body-snatching" corpses for medical dissection.

Wednesday 28 November
St John's Waterloo; 6pm; free
Dulwich Picture Gallery is running free drop-in art
classes at St John's. Drawing, painting, collage and
crafts sessions are taught by friendly experienced
tutors. All welcome.

Wednesday 28 November to Saturday 1 December
New Arch Theatre; 7.30pm; tickets on door
Network Theatre Group presentation of Alan Bennett's
play. The theatre, under Waterloo Station concourse, is
hard to find but it is worth the effort.
