FREE ADMISSION TO THE IMPERIAL WAR MUSEUM
From Saturday all admission charges are removed from
the Imperial War Museum as part of a government
initiative to restore free entry to national museums.

FRIENDS OF JUBILEE GARDENS
St John's Waterloo 6.30pm
Kate Hoey MP is calling for Jubilee Gardens to be
managed by a trust which is independent of the South
Bank Centre and Arts Council. The MP will be speaking
at the launch of the Friends of Jubilee Gardens. The
group is being formed by residents worried about
development of the gardens which opened in the Queen's
first Jubilee Year 25 years ago.

CELEBRITY CAROL CONCERT
Southwark Cathedral; 7pm; �10-�20
A special celebration in aid of communities in crisis
in Asia, Africa and latin America. John Simpson, if
back from reporting duties with the BBC in Afghanistan,
will be the host with Robert Lindsay, Joanna Trollope,
John Harle, Martin Bashir and Juliet Stevenson. The
music is by the Singers of London, conducted by Justin
Doyle, and Notre Dame Singers youth choir (directed by
Geraldine Hine who has given them a world-wide
repertoire). Organised by Health Unlimited charity
which is based on SE1�s Albert Embankment. Tickets from

The St Thomas Lupus Trust is a charity which funds
lupus research at St Thomas' Hospital in London. 
Results from this research have contributed to many of
the recent discoveries in the treatment of this complex
illness. The concert includes celebrity readings by
Anna Ford & Valerie Singleton and the choirs of Bromley
High School.
