QUEEN MOTHER QUEUES STRETCH ALONG SE1 RIVERSIDE
This weekend queues to enter Westminster Hall for the
lying-in-state of the Queen Mother stretched along the
SE1 riverside from Lambeth Bridge to Southwark Bridge
and beyond.

Those queuing on Bankside yesterday to get into
Westminster Hall were treated to the sight of
fundraisers for disability care charity Leonard

PERCUSSION GROUP LANGENHAGEN AT HAY'S GALLERIA
Tuesday 9 April
6-7pm; Hay's Galleria, Tooley Street
Musicians from Southwark's twin town of Langenhagen in
Germany will be performing at Hay's Galleria on
Tuesday. Percussion Group Langenhagen plays a huge
variety of percussion instruments - from bongos to
glockenspiels and triangles to kettle drums.

English National Opera is running two more open
community auditions for 'South of the River', the big
North Southwark performance project coming up in June.
Again, they're looking for adults who are interested in
singing and acting, although they need not have any
