It's called the Southwark Rooms and it's on the former site of the William Shakespeare pub at 60 Southwark Street. The place has been transformed from a bog standard boozer into a top cocktail venue. The launch party takes place on Thursday 9 October, starting at 6pm. Southwark Rooms are offering five pairs of tickets to the launch party for SE1 Direct readers. Email [email protected] by 5pm today (Monday), and the winners will be selected at random from the entries received. Remember to write 'Southwark Rooms' in the subject box and include your full name and address. Southwark Rooms is also offering 100 complimentary Mai Tai cocktail vouchers to readers of this newsletter. Simply print out this email, take it down to Southwark Rooms, 60 Southwark Street and tell the bar staff you're claiming your free Mai Tai voucher. First come first served.
