COMMUNITY GARDENING CLUB Tuesday 11 November (& every Tuesday) 1pm-3pm; meet at Charterhouse-in-Southwark, 40 Tabard Street Free bulbs and pots. Pot up some bulbs to display at�the Spring Flower Show. For every bulb you plant, one will be planted in a community garden Tools and training provided. West Bermondsey Community Forum has recently set up a 'Friends of Tabard Park' group. Membership is open to all local residents and anyone with an interest in Tabard Park. The Forum works with the following organisations to expand the locally available range of gardening and community projects, and composting and recycling facilities: Leathermarket JMB & RSO, Friends of Guy Street Park, Green Lanes Network, Tabard Gardens TMC, CRISP, REPA. The agenda includes: community funding workshops available to local people, a Projects Bank which can help address concerns about how Section 106 planning gain money is allocated, a forthcoming Newsletter for West Bermondsey, the Friends of Tabard Park group, and the constitution of the Forum. Come along and have your say, and to let people know about local events which may be of interest.
