MORLEY COLLEGE CHOIR CONCERT AT ST JOHN'S WATERLOO Wednesday 10 December 8pm at St John's Waterloo, Waterloo Road; �5 Morley College Choir conducted by Gregory Platt. Come along and experience what has captured the imagination of some of this country's most famous artists and feel a part of history. http://www.rosetheatre.org.uk 'LIGHTS UP' AT THE ELEPHANT AND CASTLE Friday 12 December 5pm-7pm at the Elephant and Castle Shopping Centre See the Elephant and Castle's lighting scheme being switched on for the first time by council leader Nick Stanton. The event will be projected onto a big screen at the shopping centre. Also featuring: Latin American Quarter, live music, Christmas carols, Father Christmas, street performers, giveaways, late night opening, food and drink, �1 bowling special and special Bingo sessions. http://www.elephantlinks.co.uk NATIONAL THEATRE 'BRIGHTENING UP LONDON' SWITCH ON Friday 12 December Time unknown; South Bank Damien Hirst switches on a projection onto the walls of the National - part of a London-wide campaign backed by Bob Geldof, Orange and the Evening Standard.
