THE GLASSHOUSE - FAB PADS ON UKTV BRIGHT IDEAS
9am and 3pm on UKTV Bright Ideas (Freeview/Sky/Cable)
Design programme in which Paul Roseby visits some truly
astounding residences. Paul then invites a member of
the public to come round for a meal, to see what they
make of the design and decor. Featuring The Glasshouse

Opening event of the Southwark 'Write Stuff' literature
festival.
This evening is a culmination of a whole series of
poetry events in the borough. The Southwark Poem had
its first line written by Andrew Motion, and has since
been extended by contributions from aspiring poets
throughout the borough. Morley's own poet, Maurice
Riordan, has judged the poems and prizes will be
presented to the winning entries on this evening. The
winners will be joined by other guest poets to perform
their work.

Jumble sale to raise funds for the Girls' Choir Tour
in the summer. Donations of bric-a-brac, books, toys,
and good quality, clean clothes are welcome. These can
be handed in at Cathedral House (Westminster Bridge
Road) between now and Saturday. At 1.05pm there will be
an organ recital in the Cathedral given by Robert
Crowley. The programme will include Clucas' Organ
Symphony.

WORK STARTS ON ELEPHANT TUBE STATION REVAMP
Following the reopening of the Northern Line ticket
hall in December 2003, work has now commenced on a
