As ever it is also available in electronic form at http://www.inSE1.co.uk ======================================================= [ London SE1 Postal Service Campaign Update ] Regular readers of SE1 Direct and the London SE1 community website will be aware of the campaign to improve the local postal delivery service which has been organised by some regular contributors to the forum. The campaign has gained national publicity in the Daily Telegraph, on GMTV and elsewhere. Now a meeting for local residents has been arranged at Mandela Way delivery office with the manager, Tony Phelan. This will take place on Wednesday 22 September at 7pm. The single daily delivery is due to be introduced in our area next week and will have been in operation for a couple of weeks at the time of the meeting, so it will be a good opportunity to discuss any concerns and learn a bit more about the challenges facing the Royal Mail in SE1.
