Looking ahead:
POSTAL SERVICE CAMPAIGN: MEETING AT MANDELA WAY
Wednesday 22 September
7pm at Mandela Way Sorting Office
Map: http://quicklink.se1direct.co.uk/?id=833
Regular readers of SE1 Direct and the London SE1
community website will be aware of the campaign to
improve the local postal delivery service which has
been organised by some regular contributors to the
forum. The campaign has gained national publicity in
the Daily Telegraph, on GMTV and elsewhere. Now a
meeting for local residents has been arranged at
Mandela Way delivery office with the manager, Tony
Phelan.
The single daily delivery is due to be introduced in
our area this week and will have been in operation for
a couple of weeks at the time of the meeting, so it
will be a good opportunity to discuss any concerns and
learn a bit more about the challenges facing the Royal
Mail in SE1.
If you would like to attend, you will need to contact
the forum user fabhat - see this discussion in our
forum:
