Can you see yourself as a Crimean nurse or soldier, or
even Mary Seacole? Try on costume and get a photo taken
(polaroids �1). Handle some of the items nurses and
soldiers would have used from Flo's dispensary.

Florence wrote constantly: notes, letters, books. Come
and meet our published poet, hear dramatic and moving
poems read aloud and unleash your own creativity in
writing.

FREE SHORT FILM COURSE AT THE ELEPHANT
Nation Slate is facilitating two short courses in
practical film making for residents of the Elephant and
Castle area. The course' last 6 weeks and take place on
Thursdays and Fridays 10am-4pm. Participants will gain
experience in all aspects of production and will have
the opportunity to make their own 5-minute film.
Priority will be given to those without previous
experience. The courses are free and will be based in
the Into centre in Trinity Street. 
First course: Thursday 7 April to Friday 13 May
Second course: Thursday 19 May to Friday 24 June
