WATCH PEREGRINES AT TATE MODERN Monday 1 to Wednesday 31 August Daily 10am-6pm on the Tate Modern riverside lawn; free After fledging near Regent�s Park, the RSPB expects a family of peregrines to move to the chimney of Tate Modern, where the parents will continue to feed the youngsters as they learn to hunt for themselves. Telescopes will be available for fine views of the fastest hunters in the world. http://www.rspb.org.uk OUR PLACE FREE WORKSHOPS FOR 8-12 YEAR OLDS From Monday 1 August Find out more about our neighbourhood - through drama, story-telling, art, music, guided walks, and other fun activities. Be part of a performance at REPA's Family Fun Day. The 12 workshops start on Monday 1 August at 11.30am and finish with a performance on September 2nd. Each workshop lasts for one and a half hours and they are conducted by John Constable, a local writer, performer and experienced workshop leader. Turn up today and join in! POTTERS FIELDS LOGO DESIGN COMPETITION AND WORKSHOP Saturday 13 August 10.30am-12.30pm at Nutmeg House, 60 Gainsford Street The Pool of London Partnership is working with local stakeholders on a project to redesign Potters Fields Park - situated next to City Hall and Tower Bridge - to be a world class park which is of high quality, sustainable and meets the needs of its growing number of users. Alongside this project, a Management Trust is being established to manage and maintain the park in the long-term. What is needed now is an identity. The PLP is launching a competition to come up with a logo for the new Management Trust for the park. If you know the park, use the park, have an idea for a potential logo then draw it onto the entry form and send it in. You could win yourself �50 of vouchers for HMV, M&S, entry to local attractions or a meal for two. To help generate your ideas a free design workshop is being held on Saturday 13 August. Everyone is welcome to come along and put your ideas on paper � drawing materials will be provided.
