Davies, with creative input from her company of dancers and the collaboration of four creative advisors, has produced something unique in the sphere of contemporary dance. Using the simplicity of Italian folk songs, the piece is constructed using fragments of dance; individual musical notes represent each movement, giving the final work unlimited connections. Working closely with her composer and designers, Siobhan Davies has produced In Plain Clothes specifically for a studio space. In Plain Clothes is the latest stage in the choreographer's quest to create a performer/audience intimacy rarely experienced in dance. http://www.siobhandavies.com COMMUNITY FILM CLUB: THE TIME OF OUR LIVES Monday 8 May 7pm (doors open 6.30pm) in the Starr Auditorium, Tate Modern Map: http://quicklink.se1direct.co.uk/?id=1030 Time of Our Lives is a portrait of Irish immigrant Richard Harris' extended family through whom we experience some of the deep social changes across the generations.
