Map: http://quicklink.se1direct.co.uk/?id=1117
Meet the new councillors for Lambeth's Bishop's Ward and Southwark's Cathedrals Ward. The leader of Lambeth Council, Cllr Steve Reed, has been invited to say what he hopes to achieve over the next 4 years.
Plus: An open debate about the future of retail in Waterloo. Local shopping facilities are changing: new shops are opening in new locations and some of our old shops are closing. What sort of shops do you want in the area? How can we ensure that they get sufficient trade and can afford to rent space locally? Would you like more individual shops or more high street stores? + Should we/ Could we attract a large supermarket? + Do you think Lower Marsh market can be revitalised? If so, how? + How will the new proposed developments and their residents impact on retail?
+ Can new retail spaces at Waterloo Station and elsewhere serve community needs?
+ Improvements to The Cut: Find out how to get involved in this consultation
