and cultural eveqnts taking place over the next seven

Monday 2 October
7pm at Harris Academy Bermondsey (formerly Aylwin Girls'
School), 55 Southwark Park Road
Meeting for residents of Riverside, Grange and South
Bermondsey wards.  Agenda includes Bermondsey Spa, Southwark
Community Games, Unitary Development Plan and Bermondsey
Street and pedestrian/cyclist priority.   Plus the regular
updates from local police and the latest on the Cleaner,
Greener, Safer programme.  And your chance to question your
local councillors in public.

3pm-7pm  at Waterloo Millennium Green,  Waterloo Road; free
Postponed from 14 September  Families and local residents
are invited to animal and recycling activities.    All are
welcome so come to the Millennium Green and have a look at
the artwork local children have produced during the day and
learn more about wildlife in your community.   Activities
will include: Spitalfields Farm petting animals, compost
sculpture activity, bee keeping display,  EcoActive
recycling activity & much much more  animal fun and madness!

The Beetham Organization presents new plans for its
51-storey tower on the site bounded by Blackfriars Road,
Stamford Street, Rennie Street and Upper Ground.  See the

Castle; free
Activities, fun and games. Meet family learning providers
from across Southwark.  Organisations taking part in this
event include the Centre for Literacy in Primary Education,
Southwark Adult Education, Museum of Garden History, London
College of Communication, Southwark Libraries, LLU+ and
Ilderton Primary School.

Come and see The Blackhorse and Standard Women's troop
perform this traditional English folk dance in the
