{ Advert: VOTE GREEN IN RIVERSIDE BY-ELECTION }

Voters in Riverside ward have an opportunity to send a
strong message to their council in the upcoming by-election
on Thursday 13 December.

Every vote for the Green Party candidate, Amanda Penfold,
will help put action on environmental sustainability higher
up the Council's agenda.

Amanda will argue for tough targets on reducing
CO2 emissions, faster progress on raising Southwark's
recycling rate effective use of the planning system to
tackle climate change.

Electing Amanda to join Cllr Jenny Jones on Southwark
Council will make a real difference. A second councillor
in Southwark will enable the Green Party to put its own
motions to the Council for the first time and hold the
administration to account more effectively.
