KATE HOEY ADDRESSES ASSOCIATION OF WATERLOO GROUPS
Tuesday 30 September

Vauxhall Labour MP Kate Hoey, who is also sports
commissioner in the London administration, will speak on
sports policy for London in the run-up to the 2012 Olympic
Games.

BIODYNAMIC FOOD FORTNIGHT LAUNCH EVENT AT BOROUGH MARKET
Friday 3 & Saturday 4 October
 at Borough Market, 8 Southwark Street
There will be biodynamic producers with bread, cheese,
meats, fruits and vegetables alongside a biodynamic Tamworth
Pork roast alongside an information stand, books for sale
with talks and films over the two days. Chefs who have been
passionately using biodynamic produce will also be
supporting the event. The talks programme will take place in
a conference room at Southwark Cathedral.

12 noon-4pm  at St John's Waterloo,  Waterloo Road
Waterloo Time Bank is having a Sale on the Steps at St
John's Waterloo. The event will raise money for the running
costs of the Waterloo Time Bank The Time Bank would welcome
donations of unwanted gifts, books, plants etc to sell at

banking is about neighbours helping neighbours and its
currency is time, not money.

DRAWING OUR RIVER - THE BIG DRAW
Sunday 5 October
1pm-3pm  at Bankside foreshore (steps near Globe); free
Use tiles, chalk, charcoal, bricks and found materials to
draw the river. An event for all ages. Before this event
there is an opportunity to join a walk with archaeologist
Fiona Haughey who will talk about the river and your finds.
You will end up at the Globe steps with plenty of materials
to draw with. For walk meet at 10.45am Exit 3 Blackfriars
underground station. Walk �7 (conc �5; children free).

LIVING THE EUCHARIST: CONTEMPORARY DANCE @ SOUTHWARK

Springs Dance Company offers the audience more than just a
feast for the eyes. This dynamic display of contemporary
dance explores the theme of the Christian Eucharist in a
thought-provoking and innovative way. Created especially for
performance in cathedrals this vibrant new piece will be a
delight for all, whether seasoned dance critic or completely
new to dance.
