PANCAKE RACE WITH BETTER BANKSIDE IN MONTAGUE CLOSE Tuesday 16 February 12pm-2pm at Cathedral Square, Montague Close Come and cheer on the teams from local businesses as they compete in the annual Shrove Tuesday Better Bankside pancake race. Spectators can buy pancakes from Baxter's and the cathedral Refectory. Last year's race was won by the team from the London Marathon HQ on Southwark Street. The race is held in aid of local charity Paintings in Hospitals which is based at the Menier Gallery.
