THE VERNON SISTERS: CLASSIC LOVE SONGS ON THE SOUTH BANK
Monday 14 February
6pm-9pm at London Eye, South Bank; free
The Vernon Sisters, a three piece vocal harmony group, will
be performing classic love songs from around the world
onsite including Amore, La Vie En Rose and Quizas, Quizas,
Quizas. They will give a series of 30 minute performances
between 6pm and 9pm. The Vernon Sisters will perform at the
foot of the London Eye where the decor will be themed for
the occasion.

Regular public meeting of the group that monitors proposed
developments in and around Waterloo. Jonathan Rawnsley of
Sainsbury's and Charles Graham of Rolfe Judd Architects will
introduce the plans for the major redevelopment of the
supermarket's Nine Elms site - the nearest full-size
Sainsbury's to Waterloo - which will include 750 new homes
and a Northern line Tube station.

SOUTHWARK TRANSPORT PLAN DROP-IN

The council is asking residents to take a look at its new
transport plan, which covers sustainable transport, road
safety and green travel. The draft plan was approved at the
end of last year, and anyone who lives, works or studies in
Southwark is being encouraged to take a look and give the
council their views.
