Walk with old maps round this ancient nieghbourhood,
traditionally the way in to and out of London. See some
exquisite examples of Octavia Hill housing, check out what
was once St Saviour's Workhouse and has found several new
uses. Trace where the young Charles Dickens lodged in Lant
Street and using old maps identify the location of both
Marshalsea Prisons. Walk ends at the only surviving
galleried inn in London.
