Tower Tandoori will also provide a traditional Indian banquet free of charge to visitors. There will be a live band and look out for Santa's reindeer who will be dropping in. The society can trace back its history many years, and was once briefly directed by Vaughan Williams. This year's Christmas concert is directed by Clare Clements and features Rhianwen Pugh on the harp. The concert will include music by Britten, Vivaldi and Rimsky-Korsakov as well as many traditional carols with audience participation. The annual Christingle Service will begin at 5.30pm with carols and the lighting of traditional Christingle candles made by local children. Following the service the congregation makes its way to Borough Market for the switching on of the market's Christmas tree lights. Refreshments will be served.
