Peabody - one of Southwark's largest affordable housing
providers and community regeneration charities - is planning
to redevelop the Borough Triangle, a site on the corner of
Newington Causeway and Borough Road. They are now hosting a
second round of public exhibitions to show how the plans
have evolved since the last events in February.

The More London Free Festival opens with a Street Party, a
celebration of Latin and Caribbean food and music. Enjoy
performances from world bands and dance troupes, sample some
of London�s best street food and soak up the very special

different theme. Wednesday is Brazilian, Thursday is Salsa
and Samba day with a focus on visitors dancing, Friday is
live Latin performances and Saturday is a true street party

LISTEN SOFTLY LONDON

Contemporary poetry, story-telling and live performances
featuring short story writer Paul McVeigh and poet Amy
McAllister. They will be joined by comedian Peter Bazely and
poetry slam champion, Ollie O�Neill. There will also be
three open mic slots available on the night and the show,
compared by poet Dominic Stevenson, is being held in support
of Southwark based charity the Fostering Network.

Local literature organisation The Poetry Parlour wanders
into the library this month for a Waterloo flavoured feature

Mike Bartholomew-Biggs (Fred & Blossom 2013) and Anna
Robinson (Into the Forest 2014). Everyone welcome. Part of
the Lambeth Readers' and Writers' Festival.

SOUTH BANK FORUM
Thursday 5 June
7pm at Coin Street Neighbourhood Centre, 108 Stamford Street
Regular public meeting convened by Simon Hughes MP and Kate
Hoey MP for residents of the South Bank and Waterloo. This
meeting includes a chance to meet your newly elected
councillors and the new Lambeth Police borough commander.
There will also be presentations on the National Theatre's
Watch this Space programme, plans for new sports facilities
in Archbishop's Park and antisocial behaviour around
