An exhibition of images of Lambeth and the surrounding areas
through time, from the collections of Lambeth Palace
Library, displayed in the newly refurbished 17th-century
Great Hall. Entry is by timed, escorted groups only, meeting
at the main gate of Lambeth Palace. Duration of visit is 45
minutes.

LONDON NAUTICAL SCHOOL CENTENARY THANKSGIVING SERVICE

The London Nautical School begins its centenary celebrations
with a service at Southwark Cathedral. All past students are

MOBILITY WEEK WALKS GO TO THE MOVIES
Tuesday 22 September
Meet 6pm outside Piazza Cafe at top of London Bridge Street;
free
One of five walks exploring film locations on and around the
river, spanning the South Bank, Southwark and Bermondsey.
The walks are led by writer John Constable, author of
'Secret Bankside - Walks In The Outlaw Borough' and walks
researcher Doug Poll. Walks last roughly 90 minutes. Doug
formerly worked as a TV & film sound-technician and John
worked as an TV & film extra in the 1980s, including on
'London's Burning' and at other locations visited. Together
Doug and John offer a behind-the-scenes look at the film
industry, from both sides of the camera. Funded by Southwark
Council for their Mobility Week programme.

NEW SECONDARY SCHOOL FOR SE1 - PUBLIC MEETING FOR PARENTS

DRAGONCAFE@MORLEYCOLLEGE

Inspired by the first creative mental health cafe in the UK
- The Dragon Cafe In Southwark - DragonCafe@MorleyCollege
held in the Morley Refectory, will give you a chance to
dance, sing, make art, tell stories and more. Open to all,
no experience needed and no booking in advance, just turn up
and enjoy. Additions to the usual Refectory menu will
include a delicious 'Dragon Soup' and a 'Dragon Main'.
Special launch event at 5[m-6pm: Speeches, performances and
special guests - Bobby Baker, performance artist headlines
the launch, 4Folk sing acapella and much more. Part of the
Morley College Connect and Discover Programme - FREE short
courses to help increase confidence and support mental
health through learning for wellbeing.

SHAD THAMES: EXPLORE MORE WITH STAMP

Meet in an historic warehouse for coffee and a chat about
the Shad Thames area, covering its 19th century heritage,
20th century regeneration and future developments. From

SHIRE HORSES IN SHAD THAMES
Saturday 26 September
2pm-4pm  at Tower Bridge Piazza,  Shad Thames; free
To celebrate the brewery heritage of Shad Thames, STAMP
(Shad Thames Area Management Partnership) will be welcoming
two shire horses and a dray cart in Tower Bridge Piazza.
Come along and meet these hardworking horses and their
handlers. There will also be a photo opportunity at
approximately 1.30pm when the horses pass alongside Jacob,
the bronze dray horse sculpture at The Circle on Queen
Elizabeth Street.
