present its draft plans for the proposed building where the
bridge will 'land' on the South Bank.

LAMBETH PALACE GARDEN OPEN DAY

Lambeth Palace has the oldest continuously cultivated garden
in London, and it is now open to the public on the first
Wednesday of the month. Teas and coffee available. This is
the final open day of the 2015 season.

SKIPTON HOUSE REDEVELOPMENT EXHIBITION
Thursday 8 to Saturday 10 October
Thu & Fri 12 noon-7pm; Sat 10am-4pm at Keyworth Centre,
Keyworth Street
London & Regional Properties plan to redevelop Skipton House
on London Road into an "exciting new cultural and community
destination" with up to 450 new homes as well as double the
current office space. Learn about the plans at this public

FREE LUNCHTIME CONCERT

Han-Sae Jang will play piano pieces by Janacek, Debussy and
Liszt. The recital lasts approximately 50 minutes, followed

WE KNIT WATERLOO LAUNCH EVENT

The official launch of the We Knit Waterloo community
project. Knitters can expect music, nibbles and cocktails as
well as some introductory knitting advice. Aimed at
'knitting' Waterloo's historic high street back together
with a unique and colourful approach to shop signage, the
project will see more than 50 individual hand-knitted panels
created for the shops, cafes and restaurants found along
Lower Marsh and The Cut. Supported by the Mayor of London's
High Street Fund, the project will culminate in an outdoor
exhibition of panels on Emma Cons Gardens in March 2016.

South London community choirs Bermondsey Voices and ODI
Voices come together with local singers, bell ringers,
dancers, musicians, actors and community groups to fundraise
for the Robes Project winter night shelter for homeless
people. Wine is served in the interval and there will be a
raffle.
