Elan Meeting Rooms is a newly refurbished meeting space in
SE1 suitable for Board meetings, Seminars, Meetings and
Workshops. 

We are conveniently located in Central London near London
Bridge Station, at Royal Oak Yard, just off 156 Bermondsey
Street.  The seminar room is very well located on the ground
floor, with direct access from the main entrance to the
building. The room is light and airy and well ventilated,
holding up to 12 people seated for boardroom style as well
as for seminar style and can be hired hourly, for a half 
or full day.

The room includes a 50 inch high definition flat screen TV 
to be used for projection. There is free wifi and plenty 
of cat5 and electrical points. There is flexibility with 
the table and chair arrangements to suit your requirements. 

Whether you are looking for somewhere to host a seminar or a
very professional space to present to clients, Elan meeting
rooms offer a variety of meeting options at very reasonable
prices.

Tea, coffee, beverages and catering for light lunches can be
ordered in from the nearby coffee shop upon request.   

�25 + VAT per hour, �90 + VAT for half day and for full
day �175 + VAT.

actress/singer Judy Garland. The show focuses on the happy
times and the inspirational stories behind this iconic
performer, who Fred Astaire described as "the greatest
entertainer who ever lived". The evening is raising funds
for SE London based charity METRO a leading equality &
diversity charity, providing health, community & youth
services across London & the South East & national &
international projects.

A CONCERT FOR WINTER

This free lunchtime concert is presented by Southwark
students, residents, workers and pensioners as well as the
Globe's own staff choir. This year's theme is 'The River',
and will include a new setting of lines from Ben Jonson's
poem in memory of Shakespeare, the "sweet swan of Avon" who
"made his flights upon the banks of Thames".

SOUTH BANK FORUM

Bank and an update on Jubilee Gardens. There will also be an
update on We Are Waterloo's future plans and TfL will
present their plans for the southern end of Westminster

MORLEY MORSELS

A day of 21 free one-hour taster sessions linked to some of
the 600 courses starting in January at Morley College.
Whether you would like to master those Ballroom and Latin
American dance moves, finally learn to order your food in
Chinese, get creative with Adobe Photoshop or try your hand
at designing your own clothes, Morley will give adults the
opportunity to try something new in this series of beginner
sessions.

SLIP ROAD - LANTERN PARADE AROUND BLACKFRIARS ROAD
Friday 11 December
3.30pm-5pm; free
A giant mechanical Jack Frost puppet will parade around the
streets either side of Blackfriars Road, lighting lanterns
and collecting hopes and dreams while spreading a spark of
joy through the streets. The parade starts at Friars Primary
School (3.30pm) and makes its way to the Diversity Garden
(3.40pm), Blackfriars Settlement (4.10pm), Styles House
(4.30pm) and the Peabody Estate (4.50pm). Organised by
Emergency Exit Arts, this magical parade will pass through
the Blackfiars Road neighbourhood inviting lantern bearers
to follow him, display their lanterns, warm-up with tasty
treats and wish upon a star. Part of the 'Blackfriars
Stories' series of events.

THE GENERAL ELECTION AND ITS AFTERMATH - EXHIBITION

Topolski Studio presents the work of Matt Booker, Alex
Broome-Nicholson, Edwood Burn, Luisa Crosbie, Laura Fitton,
Pat Macdonald, Josh Morris, Jack Miller, Chlo� Parke and
Louis Vinet. There will be original drawings from during the
election, including UKIP's campaign in South Thanet,
Labour's campaign in Bermondsey, and the Green Party's
spring conference, as well as copies of the new Chronicle
available, hand-printed by the Topolski Fellows. Topolski
Studio is located behind the security barrier of the
Southbank Centre around the back of Ping Pong.

CROSSBONES CHRISTMAS GHOST WALK
Sunday 13 December
Meet 1.45pm for 2pm at Tabard Street piazza; �9 (conc �8);

Visit the sites of hauntings and other paranormal activities
on this guided walk with local writer John Constable, author
of Secret Bankside � Walks In The Outlaw Borough. Discover
haunted pubs, a Borough magician and the spookiest stretch
of the Thames. The walk ends at the Cross Bones Graveyard,
where Constable encountered the spirit of 'The Goose', the
inspiration for his best-known work The Southwark Mysteries
and for the creation of the Crossbones garden of
remembrance. All interwoven with a retelling of A Christmas
Carol, Charles Dickens' classic ghost story. For adults and
children aged 8 or over: children must be accompanied.
