A super-sized, illuminated bouncy castle - designed
especially for adults - has been created to celebrate the
launch of Candy Crush Jelly Saga, the latest instalment of
hit mobile game series Candy Crush. It's free and open to
all members of the public aged 16+. Not advised for people
with heart problems, breathing difficulties, or for anyone
frail or pregnant.

FREE LUNCHTIME CONCERT
Thursday 3 March
1pm at St George the Martyr,  Borough High Street; free
Guitar recital by Peter Joe Bennett & Karen Yeung. The
recital lasts approx 45 minutes, followed by light
refreshments and a chance to meet the performer. You are
welcome to bring your own lunch to eat during the recital if
you wish.

BETTER AGEING FORUM
Thursday 3 March
2pm-4pm  at Waterloo Action Centre, 14 Baylis Road
Forum to discuss improving the area so people can age more
independently, healthily and with fewer problems. Come and
join the discussion especially if you have experience of
being over 60. All welcome. Topics include allocation of
sheltered housing, improving life for housebound older
people and Munro House courtyard campaign. Tea and cakes
available.

BACH TO BABY: TUBA CONCERT

10.30am at St Mary Magdalen,  Bermondsey Street; �10 or less

Bach to Baby is brought to you by award-winning concert
pianist and local mum Miaomiao Yu. In a Bach to Baby first,
hear the magnificent tuba play high, low, fast and slow in
music by Bach, Marcello and Vaughan Williams, plus some
silly pieces too. The idea is simply to bring adults and
kids of all ages together for a lively morning of music.

LAMBETH PALACE GARDEN OPEN DAY
Friday 4 March
12pm-3pm  at Lambeth Palace, Lambeth Palace Road; �5

For the second year running, the Archbishop of Canterbury
has opened up SE1's largest private garden for visitors on a
regular monthly schedule from March to October. Visit on
Friday to see how many flowering plants are ahead of
themselves this year, including majestic magnolia, flowering
cherries and a mound full of Narcissi and scented bulbs.

ROOM OF A THOUSAND BUTTERFLIES: AN ART INSTALLATION BY RENEE
RILEXIE
Friday 4 March
6pm-8.30pm  at Travelling Through..., 131 Lower Marsh; free
In recognition of Women's History Month, Travelling
Through... is hosting an art installation by artist Renee
Rilexie, celebrating the beauty of transformation and
regeneration in the lives of women everywhere. An art
installation by day, Room of a Thousand Butterflies
transforms into a sensory room by night. Visitors are
invited to contribute their thoughts by adding a butterfly.
The Private View begins at 6pm and is open to all. Bar open
from 6pm. The exhibition will continue throughout March,
with open evenings on 10 and 11 March and 1 April.

RE-DRAW: DROP IN AND DRAW
Saturday 5 March
1pm-4pm  at Drawing Room, Unit 8, Rich Estate, 46 Willow
Walk; free; booking appreciated but drop-in participants

A drop-in workshop designed and led by artist James Brooks.
This session will explore the variety of potential source
material available for making drawings. Working with paper
based magazines, newspapers, journals, manuals, maps and
picture books, the workshop aims for individuals to create
new narratives by combining and editing familiar imagery
through specific drawing techniques. These are drop-in
sessions suitable for individuals and families of all ages.
