BANKSIDE RESIDENTS' FORUM
Wednesday 28 March
6.30pm-9pm  at Bankside Community Space, 18 Great Guildford
Street
Bankside Residents' Forum has organised a special meeting
for local people to learn more about - and respond to - the
proposals for a new hotel at 160 Blackfriars Road - as wel
as Peabody's plans for up to 700 homes on the Borough
Triangle (Mercato Metropolitano) site.

EASTER EGGSTRAVAGANZA
Saturday 31 March
11am-6pm  at Gabriel's Wharf,  Upper Ground; free
An afternoon of free family fun on the South Bank. Children
are sent on a mission to find the tasty treats dotted around
Gabriel's Wharf shops, while adults can take part in the
Scavenger Hunt for a chance to win a 50 gift voucher. The
free craft activities will run between 12 noon and 3pm. From
1pm, The Daughters of Davis return with a catalogue of crowd
pleasers to entertain you as you enjoy the free tasty treats
provided by Coin Street Community Builders.

DRAWING THE ELEPHANT ATLAS!
Tuesday 3 April
11am-2.30pm  at London College of Communication; free; book

Families are welcome at this drawing day which is part of
the Elephant Atlas event programme. Elephant Atlas is an
exhibition involving artists and writers inspired by the
weird and wonderful Cuming Museum collection. This local
museum collection has everything from Ancient Egyptians to
groovy shoes from the 1960s. Create your own museum
collection, colour, draw and have fun. Use the free kids'
guide created by White Wall Yellow Door to enjoy the
exhibition and create your own book. There will be objects
from the Cuming museum collection as well as the artworks in
the gallery to give you ideas and inspiration. All welcome
but aimed at ages 5 and over. Pushchairs accommodated and
lift access available. This is a free event and you are
welcome to drop in at any time between 11 and 2.30. Event
closes at 3pm. Booking in advance is advised to help
organisers manage numbers.
